Transparency

The transparent use of funds is very important. RMD always invites donors to witness handing over of money or equipment to recipients. If they are unable to attend, RMD sends them a detailed report. In addition, every year, RMD always sends the donors a complete financial report which has already been audited by a certified public accountant It is to make sure that the money is not falling into corrupt or abusive hands.

RMD also publishes yearly magazine which is called TERAMPiL (as shown on the right side). In TERAMPiL Magazine, RMD informs about seven main of program activities and a financial report. If you would like to receive TERAMPiL magazine, please send your post address to us by email (Email:yayasanrmd@gmail.com). Privacy Statement: By signing up to receive our magazine you will not be added to any mailing lists and we will not pass your address on to any third parties as we do not want your address will be abused.

For those who donate over US $1000 will have the opportunity to be involved in the decision making process about on how the money will be spent. The most important thing of our transparency is that the financial report of RMD Foundation is always audited by a certified public accountant. We do this as we believe that the transparency at RMD Foundation is a key. Because of that we operate ‘a completely open books policy’ which means that anyone is welcome to review our financial report. Consequently, a feeling of trust has been established among us, the donors, and the communities receiving assistance. We understand that only a very few foundation in Indonesia do this.
